The FORSCHNER Group was founded 1948 by Eugen Forschner in Aixheim; the corporation remains family-owned to this day.


In 1972, the company moved to Spaichingen, where the FORSCHNER Group's head office remains. In addition to management and administration, the central technology center is located here as well. It includes the sections basic modular development, method and system testing, sample construction, prototype construction, as well as education and staff training for all 3 business units.

In 1995, Forschner spol sro, located in the Czech Republic, was established to reach new customer sectors.



In 1999, another location was opened when Forschner PTM GmbH was purchased.


In the same year, Forschner PTZ was established in the Czech Republic.


This was followed by the establishment of Forschner Kablo in 2001 in Turkey.


That year we also moved into the new constructed company building in Spaichingen.

In 2004 the location Svalyava in the Ukraine was established. This location permit us to generate future growth.

By founding a joint venture in China in 2005, we emphasized our continued international orientation.

The corporation's globalization will remain our goal for the future.

60th anniversary of the company in 2008
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the company the company´s founder Mr Eugen Forschner and his family were delighted to receive an anniversary cake.

Special highlights on the stand were our new products in the areas of "variable cable breaktrough", "SCR" and in "hybrid".

In 2010, Forschner Company pays tribute to loyal employees

In a joint ceremony were this year`s jubilee Eugen Forschner GmbH and Forschner PTM GmbH honored.
Two longtime employees were passed in retirement. After a musical opening Dr. Gert Forschner thanked for the many years of successful collaboration of the eleven anniversaries. Dr. Forschner raised in his speech the crucial importance of skilled and loyal employees for the success of a company. Were honored at the Eugen Forschner GmbH for 10 years Thomas Chaloupka, Ulrike Kammerlander, Helene Zetto, Theresia Sopeck and Martin Sopeck for 20 years.
In the Forschner PTM GmbH were Vladimir Kawalew, Andreas Lutz and Andreas Unruh honored for 10 years, Lydia Pappke and Joseph Sauter for 30 years and Klaus Dilger for 45 years. Christina Aicher occurs after 49 years working in PTM to the well-deserved retirement. The second retired in PTM, Mario Filiberto, was unable to attend the tribute.
